In the Shade of Olive: First Floor Renovation

This renovation transformed a dated, disjointed space into a fresh interior full of warm, earthy tones and elevated finishes for a growing family. The kitchen was updated with sage green shaker cabinetry, brass hardware, a custom range hood, and hand-cut zellige backsplash tile, creating a rich yet understated focal point. The passthrough to the dining room was transformed into a butler’s pantry and a more traditional pantry space. The open-concept dining and living areas were unified with wide plank wood-look flooring, layered textiles, and cozy, neutral-toned furniture. Thoughtful touches like linen Roman shades, understated lighting, and curated decor bring balance between comfort and sophistication, making the space feel both inviting and intentional.
