Initial Project Consult - $200

I’ll come to you and let’s daydream about what your space can be! A consult lasts one hour and during this time, we will walk through your space, and I will make suggestions based on your goals.  Typical topics include:

  • Your Style, Life, and Preferences

  • Desired Furnishing + Finishes (if you already have ideas)

  • What you love about the space (and what you’d change)

  • Project priorities

  • Timeline

  • Budget

At the end of the consult, I will create a detailed proposal for the design services associated with the changes we discussed and details on where to go next. The cost of a consult is $200.

E-Design Package - $450
This package is great for small renovation or decorating projects, where you need some help getting on the right track and will take on the execution of the design yourself.

Renovation e-Design includes:

• Mood board with material selections (tile, countertops, cabinetry, paint, etc.)
• Key layout and installation notes or basic floor plan recommendations
• Fixtures and finish selections (lighting, plumbing, hardware, etc.)
• Shoppable list and product sources

Decor e-Design includes:

• Mood board with furniture and decor selections
• Basic space planning and layout suggestions
• Shoppable list with links for easy ordering
• Styling notes + tips for setup and final styling

Full Service Design Package - Varies

This package is ideal for clients looking for comprehensive, start to finish design support. Whether you're renovating a kitchen or bathroom, or furnishing a new home, S. Schmid Home manages every aspect of the project so you can enjoy the process (and the final result) with confidence.

We handle the details, including design development, project planning, sourcing, procurement, delivery coordination, and issue resolution, ensuring your space comes together beautifully and seamlessly.

For Renovation Projects:
• Initial site visit and measurement
• Floor plans, elevations, and layout guidance
• Material and finish selections (tile, countertops, paint, cabinetry, etc.)
• Fixtures and fittings (lighting, plumbing, hardware, etc.)
• Communication and coordination with your contractor and trades
• Ongoing design oversight throughout construction

For Decor Projects:
• Furniture and decor selections customized to your style and space
• Space planning and layout drawings
• Color palette and material guidance
• Custom window treatments, rugs, art, and styling pieces
• Procurement and order management
• Coordination of deliveries and final installation

Note that for all renovation packages, the work by contractors and tradespeople is separate. I am happy to make recommendations of vendors and encourage you to bring in vendors of your choice as well.
